How much do you know about the effects of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on your personal health and the health of the food that is harvested for you to eat?
Our feature interview is with Jeffrey Smith, Executive Director of the Institute for Responsible Technology. Jeffrey travels globally to educate consumers, healthcare professionals, and policy makers about the health and environmental effects of genetically modified foods and crops. His most recent book is Seeds of Deception: Exposing Industry and Government Lies about the Safety of the Genetically Engineered Foods You’re Eating. He also co-director of a new film, “Secret Ingredients,” which highlights the dramatic story of one family’s journey to regain their health after eliminating GMOs and pesticides from their diet. The film also includes scientists and experts who explain why and how GMOs may be making us sick.
Listen as Jeffrey shares striking evidence for the negative impact GMOs have on human health and the health of the environment in which our food is grown. You’ll pick up essential information, tips, resources and actionable steps to help you become a more informed consumer who can help protect our food supply from farm to fork.
Getting GMOs out of our food supply, from farm-to-fork, is everyone’s responsibility.
