To be a part of the Medicine Talk Contributing Author Article Database, please follow the steps below.

1. Contact Medicine Talk so that we can verify you are one of the following:
   
   
   • Naturopathic Doctor with a license to practice medicine or a diploma from a 4-year accredited Naturopathic Medical school.
   • Medicial professional (i.e. MD, DO, NP) with a state license to practice medicine.
   • Health care professional (social worker, councelor, art therapist) with proper credentials in respective field.



2. Medicine Talk staff will need to see one of the three pieces of information to verify your credentials:
   
   
   • scanned copy of state license.
   • scanned copy of diploma.
   • a letter of recommendation from someone verified by the Medicine Talk staff.



3. Once you have been verified, you will be sent instructions on how to submit your article.



4. Review the Medicine Talk Editorial Guidelines. Remember to:
   
   
   • Save your document as: Word (.doc), Adobe PDF (.pdf), or Rich Text File (.rtf).
   • Format your submission according to the guidelines.
   • Base your conclusions on information supported by research and credible sources.
   • Cite any resources used to write your article using the Chicago Manual of Style (author/date).
   • Include References with your article
   • Include a short bio and current business or contact information



5. Submit a signed copy of the Author Terms of Service agreement. Contact us for fax number.



6. Submit your article to Medicine Talk.



7. Medicine Talk editorial staff will review your article and take one of the following actions:
   
   
   • Publish. Release your article for immediate publication (reserving the right to make minimal editorial changes).
   • Recommend Changes. Contact you with specific changes that need to be made or questions that need to be addressed before publication.
   • Pass. Pass on the opportunity to publish your article. If you are passed for publication, you may contact Medicine Talk staff for more details.
